LETTERS FROM RUH.
ZAYBASKH Letters | Edition 01
Subject: How to Boost Your Productivity — The Islamic Way.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Assalamu Alaikum,
Today’s letter is for the one who wants to be productive, but not just busy. Who wants to create, but not burn out. Who seeks results, but also Ridaa — Allah’s pleasure.
In a world obsessed with hustle, deadlines, and dopamine hits, how do we bring our Deen into Dunya — and still get things done?
Let’s turn to timeless Islamic wisdom.
✨ 1. Begin with Niyyah (Intention)
“Actions are but by intentions…” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Before you open your laptop, start your project, or even clean your room — pause and say:
“Ya Allah, I do this for Your sake.”
That alone transforms a task into ‘ibadah (worship). Productivity isn’t just planning — it’s purposeful.
🎯 Try This:
Write down your why before each major task.
Stick it on your wall.
Let your intention outshine the outcome.
🕊️ 2. Follow the Fajr Flow
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“O Allah, bless my Ummah in the early hours.” (Tirmidhi)
The early hours hold barakah that no productivity hack can replace. There’s something about the post-Fajr light, the quiet, the Qur'an recitation, the clarity.
🌤 Fajr to Sunrise is your golden window. Protect it.
📿 Try This:
After Fajr, don’t rush. Take a nap. yes, it's Sunnah. Reflect. Journal.
Set 3 tasks. Then begin with quiet focus. That’s prophetic productivity.📚
⏳ 4. Time Block Like Umar (RA)
Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA) was a master planner. He organized the Islamic state, ran major reforms — yet found time to reflect and worship deeply.
🕰️ Structure your day. Assign clear blocks:
-
Morning: Deep work
-
Afternoon: Admin + light tasks
-
Evening: Qur'an, Du’a, journaling, rest
📌 Tip: Don’t multitask. It steals barakah.🫀
5. Honour the Heart, not just the Hustle.
You're not a machine. You are a heart-driven soul. The Prophet ﷺ would rest, retreat, walk, smile, and connect deeply with people.
🌿 When productivity feels dry — pause. Make wudu. Breathe. Make sincere du’a. Refuel at the well of barakah.
💭 This Week’s Prompt:
What would my life look like if I worked with Allah, not just for results?
Write it down. Reflect. Let it guide your days.
📮 Until Next Sunday,
May your to-do lists turn into Rizq.
May your routine become a path to Jannah.
And may every step you take — be laced with barakah.
With love,
Zaybaskh Letters.
“Productivity with soul. Planning with purpose. Deen in every detail.”
